[The thing is, Keiko understands the lives her friends have had. Not on a personal level - she can never really understand how they feel or what they went through, not when her life is seemingly perfect. And there's a level of guilt associated with that. Why does she get to be so lucky when everyone around her suffers so much?

Not that Keiko would ever tell that to them. Because then they'd be tripping over themselves to reassure her, and it's not like she needs the reassurance. No, she's comfortable in who she is and her place in the world. As the leader, as the kind of glue that keeps them together.

As the person who can probably offer them the sort of comfort they need because she's not weighed down by her past.

She glances at Hoshi and smiles.]
It's getting crowded out here, I didn't want us to get separated.
