She pauses because, well, she wasn't expecting that. She thought he'd put up a fight. And she has no idea what sort of thing to eat - mostly she was just throwing out reasons to stay up on deck.
"Breakfast is soon, I don't want anything big." Another pause; she doesn't really want to send him away either. She fights against another yawn before adding, "Maybe just... a donut?"
