He had almost made it. He could even taste freedom right outside of the tent and away from all of this. But then Sakura's hands curl in his vest and he feels himself being tugged back. What is this strength?
"You have a lot of others you could be spending your attention on. I'm fine," he grumbles, staring from her to where her finger is pointing. He figures he could find enough time to make an escape, but the idea of his own student getting the best of him makes him finally sit on the very edge of the cot.
"I'm fine," he repeats.
His chest aches viciously, and he's exhausted. But fine.
