[ They'd been making habits of trying to get away from things in Abax and just hang out - Alex out of the x-tower and away from Pyro and Erik and all the annoyances therein and etcetera. It was easy enough for Alex to pick the lock of the VW hippie van and it turned out there were already blankets and things laid down. Alex didn't want to think what for, but the term 'shaggin wagon' came to mind and he very wisely kept it to himself.
They'd laid for a long while just idly talking about the city and the people in it, and when random shifting ended up with their hands overlapping, Alex just sort of... stayed that way. Without comment. And might have wound his fingers a little close under the guise of stretching or itching, so they actually had hands half-interlaced. What is social awkwardness. It is Alex Summers. ]
So, uhm. Basically it just ended with me accidentally torching the club because Pyro punched me in the back of the head. [ True story. ]
