[Sometimes, time seems to fly past him and at other times, it inches by so slowly, he feels himself going insane. Feels twitchier than normal. He can feel it in the way his fingers curl into fists and the tightness of his chest. He definitely feels it when Annabeth isn't in his sights at all, when she's stepped out of the room or when she's with someone else.
It's worse at night for Percy, though, when the nightmares of Tartarus stick with him. It's like an extra skin clinging to him.
