"No you can't." Most people would probably not look when there's a mostly naked girl on the ground, discreetly attempting to slide into a leather jack to cover up. Well, Derek isn't most people. She annoyed him, and not it's his turn.
Derek is really not fit for civilization, so it's probably for the best that he's here in this compound.
"You need to learn control. You need something that's going to anchor you." He has that sense of control. So does Scott and Isaac. Not the others, though. They've never found that anchor, that balance that helps them to shift. "But maybe we're just designed differently."
