They might not be bloodthirsty - him and Hawke - but they do live with a thrill for the fight. Regardless of the time he spends around humans or how free he is, nothing about him will ever be suitable enough to fit into what other nobles would consider a good time.

He knows Hawke well enough to know she feels the same.
