Maya hisses at him, affronted. After all, if he wasn't such a baby about having fun, she wouldn't have to walk on eggshells around him. He'd made it seem like dropping out of trees was all he could handle without keeling over from sheer impotent rage.

She likes to think she got that across, somehow. And if that doesn't work, the way her muscles bunch might clue him in. She makes sure her claws are retracted, obviously, but that's about the only precaution she takes before she launches herself at him, fulling intent on knocking him to the ground.
