Maya launches herself at him again, and he's more prepared for it this time. He shifts his feet, squaring his body to prepare for the attack. She hits him harder than before, but he's ready for it. His arms wrap around her bulky body, flipping her onto her back and away from him.

Do skinwalkers land on their feet, too?

The weird thing is, he's enjoying this. The physical activity, the mock attacks. There's something calming about violence. Maybe that's just the wolf inside of him.
