[It's a curious place, the shop. That's for sure. Belle's more interested in the items here for a moment than in the original purpose for seeking out this famed Mister Gold.

She's leaning over a case, eyeing a sword when the man speaks up, causing her to jump back guiltily.] Where did you find all of these things?

[ he stands, cane supporting his weight as he walks around the display cases ]

I'm a man of many acquisitions. Everyone's willing to trade, if it's for the right price.

[The ghost of a smile flickers across her face, but there's not a lot of humor in her eyes.] Oh trust me, I know that very well.

[She glances at him.] Not many people speak highly of you and the deals you make.

And yet, here you are.

So I'll ask again dearie, is there something specific you're after?

I'm not very good at listening to other people, which would account for me being here.

[She's dumb. And she knows it.]

Tell me what you know about curses.

Then it seems fortune is smiling on us both today. Tuesdays are rather slow in the shop.

[ he halts behind another counter, smiling. you can see the flicks of gold in his teeth ]

Oh, a great deal. You'll have to narrow it down if you'd like to be able to make dinner.

Tuesdays are rather slow in general, I think.

[She stills for a second, because it almost feels like making a deal with a demon... Or a dragon. But then she tosses a pleasant enough smile back in his direction before going to examine a couple of dolls.]

Ah, you think I'd be too bored to listen? I've always liked learning about things. But I'll get to the point. What do you know about fairy curses?

[ no matter where she goes, the dolls' eyes seem to follow her

That they're typically far more trouble than what they're worth.

[Cr...eepy. She waves her hand in front of their faces before delicately poking at them.]

That's the thing about fairies, isn't it? They're not particularly useful.

Touching implies intent to purchase, Ms Beaumont. [ yeah, he knows your name. yeah, he's showing off a little. and yes those puppets do have expressions of utter horror on them ]

Not as useful as they'd like to think themselves. And, judging from your tone, I take it you have personal experience in the matter.

Touching means that I'm curious about them. You're awfully narrow-minded if you think otherwise. [:'3

She suppresses a shiver though. Creepy guy, creepy dolls. Why is she even here again?]

Secondhand experience, unfortunately, but I've never really liked fairies. They're flighty and believe themselves to be the superior race with no real evidence to back it up.

Merely conscientious to their price and the likelihood of your being able to afford it should they break under such...curiosity.

[ he smiles again. it's not a friendly look ]

How about we discuss the purpose for your visit, Ms. Beaumont? I doubt it has to do with your desire to hear my opinions on fairies.

I have money. [Well. No she doesn't, but she could get the money. :| He doesn't need to know that, though.]

You seem to know an awful lot. [She places her hands on her hips, staring at him.] So do you already know about me?

[ he leans back, evaluating her like a cat stares down a mouse ]

You're cursed, that's plain to see. Though I wonder if that's why you seek my services?
