She's quick, reaching out the second his hand is even close to her body, taking hold of his arm and flipping him onto the ground.] You have two seconds to tell me who you are before I gut you.

[That flip doesn't go quite as planned, him rolling to escape landing on his back and ending up crouched on his feet, back turned to her. He looks over his shoulder and shrugs, smile on his face despite the seriousness of this situation. Okay, so that mark wasn't as easy as he thought.]

Just a guy trying to make an honest living. [A thoughtful pause on his part, then:] Okay, maybe not quite so honest, but a living nevertheless.

[She almost looks a little disappointed that he rolls out of it unscathed. Look, traveling with Garrett is hard, okay. He gets all grossed out when she kills people.

Her eyebrow arches.] Make a living elsewhere. There are plenty of others with fatter purses around here.

[He is a roller, not a fighter. Well, no, he's a lot of things, fighter included, but he'd rather not fight with you, okay. He just wants something to eat.

Standing on up to brush off his knees, hands up in a casual, placating manner.] No need to get hostile, lady. Your purse is yours, I swear. [Not exactly leaving, though.]

I'm not hostile. [There's a ghost of a smile across her pale face before she looks him over again. Why isn't he leaving? Go make your living, thief.

But Shelby doesn't say any of that because, well. It's his right to do as he wishes.] Anything else?

Right, I'm sure you just threaten the boys you like. [Hands behind his head, totally looking her over as well. Look, if you do it, he's allowed to, too. It's a rule.]

Nope, not at all! [Still... not leaving. In fact, he's grinning right at her.]

[But she doesn't like any boys. That would mean having some sort of feelings. Garrett doesn't really count. In any case, she's looking him over for any weaknesses, committing him to memory.

You know. Just in case.] I threaten anyone who is a threat to me. [She shrugs.]

Very well then. [Okay, maybe he's. Simple. In the head. Like Garrett! Well she already has one dumb prince, she doesn't need another.] Careful who you attempt to steal from again.
