[She's not really looking forward to the prospect of spending weeks in here, starving or otherwise. She's quiet for a moment before her lips twist into a wry smile. Unfolding her legs, she stands up.] Who's to say I am not already dead?
no subject
People who can't give everything shouldn't promise everything.
[That gets a grin out of him. Idly, he reaches towards the controls, gives her a little jolt] This should help.
no subject
And she's not even a real Jedi anymore.
The jolt isn't terrible, but it surprises her enough that it gets a small yelp out of her.] There are more deaths than just the physical ones!
no subject
He speaks around the apple] This is where you try to save me, right?
no subject
The strength increases, and she grits her teeth, hoping to hold on as long as she can. It doesn't last for long, her knees going weak as she hisses then screams.] Can you... Can you even be saved?
no subject
She screams, and he nudges the intensity way up for a brief second before shutting it off entirely.] That would be telling. [It's always better to watch them come to that realisation]
Stand up.
no subject
He orders her to stand up, and she wants to defy him. To stay in this position and anger him enough to just kill her. There's no point to any of this. He's not going to get anything out of her. Except the pleasure of her death.
Licking her lips, she climbs to her feet slowly, raising her head to stare at him.] Did Revan order this? Or did Malak? [Who hates her the most?]
no subject
We're going to play a game. So long as you stay standing, you get little jolts, like this. [He demostrates.] But if you hit the ground again, you get big ones. [He increases the intensity again with no other warning. It's enough to send someone a lot more robust to their knees] Like that. Hit the sides if you understand.
[The sides of the cell are, of course, designed to shock anyone who tries touching them. And if she doesn't do it, he'll shock her harder until she does. It's about letting them know that they have no escape, that he's in charge of their world and that their world is now that little cell]
no subject
The small jolt of electricity is barely nothing, but the next one makes her choke, bringing her to her knees again. This is fairly pathetic. She was once Revan's left hand, a general of his army. Reduced to nothing by a nothing man. Seems fitting, in a way. As if the Force is still tugging her along its design.
It takes her a second before she can climb back to her feet, but she doesn't hesitate to hit the sides of her cage the moment she does, still watching him. He might be in charge, and he might be the one who gets the honor of killing her, but like hell if she'll give him the pleasure of it.] How many Jedi have you needlessly killed?
no subject
She stands, hits the sides without hesitation. His eyebrows raise, and he slowly sits back. Usually their pride makes them hold out longer. There haven't been many who've seen that they'll stay unbroken for longer if they take the route of less pain.] Good girl. [He sets the controls to a low, continuous buzz for now, returns to his apple]
None. [It's an easy reply, as he takes another bite from the fruit. If he couldn't turn them, they all needed to die]
no subject
The pain starts again, slow. It takes a few moments before she begins to feel it, but it's nothing. Nothing compared to what she's already gone through, nothing like the pain of Malachor. But even she knows that something small and continuous will build up.]
It's much easier to lie to yourself than anyone else, isn't it? To force yourself into thinking that what you're doing is right.
no subject
Nomnomnom apple. He nudges the intensity up a little] Oh no. you got me. What will I do with myself now?
no subject
[She grits her teeth and falls silent when the pain gets worse.] You? You'll keep playing this game of yours until Revan decides you're worthless too.
no subject
I didn't know fortune telling was a Jedi skill. [Contrary to the rules of his game, he gives her another strong jolt. He made the rules, he can break them]
no subject
She's always been too trusting.
Her voice is a whisper when she speaks.] I'm not a Jedi.
no subject
The intensity raises even higher. He wants to tip her over, make her hit the floor. Even that's too good for her.]
That was quick. [Once again, he bites into his apple. the skin's gone at this point, leaving only flesh behind. He doesn't reduce the intensity at all. From experience, he knows that this is only the beginning]
no subject
Her face is wet, from sweat and from tears, she suspects, but she ignores it. Her head lifts so she can look at him again.] I'm a traitor to the Jedi Order. They stripped me of the title and... and of the Force. [She's not a Jedi. She's a nobody. A nothing. A husk of a person who gets to live deaf and blind to the world around her.] So just... Just kill me. You want to.
no subject
Slowly, he drags the controller down until it's back to the low intensity.] It's always a disappointment when you die. [There's nothing but honesty in his tone.] Why are you a traitor?
no subject
She pants and spits on the floor. There's honesty in his tone, but he's going to have to wait a minute until she can force herself to talk again.] I promise you, it will be more disappointing continuing this.
[There's a sad twist of her lips.] Because I followed Revan to war when we were told not to go. Because I believe in Revan, and I believed in saving the Republic. And because I don't regret it, the worst sin of them all.

Tell me the truth. [It's a demand, all of his good humour gone.] Tell me the truth and make it good, or I'll do it again, and just when you think you're going to die because it hurts so much, i'll turn it off. And I'll take care of your wounds and nurse you back to health, and then it'll start all over again.
no subject
Finally, she moves, turning her head so that she can spit out the blood that pooled into her mouth.] What... What else can I tell you? [She brushes a hand over her face.] I was the only one who went back to the Order when it was over, and they made an example of me. I'm an exile, stripped of everything that ever made me a Jedi. [She glances at him.] I've lost my men, my friends, my lightsaber, the Force.
[Her lip trembles.] Revan said... That we were going to do what the Council was too afraid to try. We were going to be the heroes the people thought we were. I paid dearly for his ideals. [She should be bitter, but she's not. She doesn't hold it against Revan, doesn't really hold it against the Council. There's anger, sure, but there's mostly just tired resignation.] I'd do it all over again.
no subject
He's not ignorant. He knows who this woman has to be, the fabled general who pulled the trigger on Malachor V and ended a war. Which makes him wonder why he hasn't been called out, if he's honest. She doesn't seem like the type of captive either Revan or Malak would like to leave in the hands of someone like him.
He stares at her for a long time, lying there on the floor. Finally, without saing anything, he kills the power on the cell. The walls disappear.]
no subject
Lifting her head, she stares up at him, her blue eyes bloodshot, vision slightly blurry.] If you're going to kill me, do it fast. I don't know if I deserve it, but I want it to be fast.
