Eyes flicker closed and Alex presses lips soft over hers, Vanessa's feeling smooth and warm against him and he lingers there for a moment. The kiss is only chaste, something toeing at what either of them are okay with, and he pulls back up, lower lip pulled in between his teeth while he waits for the eventual punch that he totally expects. ]

[She stills when he touches her this time, a blush crawling up her neck and settling on her cheeks. Her arms tingle, and she lets out a soft sigh to calm herself because, really. It's just hair brushing. That's nothing special, not really. Friends do that, and she doesn't get breathless around them.

But she doesn't really have time to linger on whether that was friendly or not, not when his mouth is against hers. It's soft, probably the most hesitant kiss she's ever received. Even Michael wasn't as unsure. Vanessa swallows back the groan at the thought, because she's not supposed to be comparing them. The kiss is sweet and short, and she knows the instant that he pulls away that she wants more. She reaches up to press the tips of her fingers against his mouth.] You're cute when you do that.

[Leaning up, she replaces her fingers with her mouth, easing her lips over his as she kisses him back. It's slow and firm, his caution infecting her as she tries to make sure that this is what he wants, too. Alex can break it anytime he wants.]
